How many times have you heard that life is a "Balancing Act"???????? Well, I'm here to tell you that's it's NOT. They are all liars!
Show me one mother who is "BALANCED" and I'll well . . . I don't know what I'd do 'cause I haven't met one yet!!!!!
I wish we could all stop pretending that we are PERFECT, that everything is under control, that our meals are home cooked and organic, that we have time to work out as well as be the room mother at school, to have a date night with our husbands, to remember to send birthday cards to our friends and family, to remember that we actually HAVE friends and when their birthdays actually are, to pretend that our laundry is not overfloweth, that our clothes are pressed and fresh from the dry cleaner - not from the bottom of our closet floor, that our underwear is NOT maternity underwear, and the ultimate: that we don't use Pinot Grigio as a protein sometimes!!!!!!!!!!
Sooooooo, I have a theory that I would like to share:
I have learned that life is quite simply a JUGGLING ACT. Some days you drop the mom ball, some days you drop the work ball, some days you drop the friend ball, but you know what?
Just pick the balls back up and start juggling again.
The key to being a successful juggler is to never, ever give up, and more importantly...
you gotta have a REALLY STRONG set of BALLS.
Happy Juggling : )
With Love From Me to Hue and All Your Balls,
